CLT

Thursday we visited CLT.  Although I have used the place before for my first year seminar, I have not used it since.  The Center was very helpful to use though when I needed help doing projects.  Sometimes I would have trouble doing s certain task on my Mac so I would go there and ask for help while doing it on the Mac's in the CLT.  Here I not only was helped on my project, but I was also able to learn how to do it on my Mac for the future.  For many classes I have gone to CLT to use the scanners since I don't own one.  However I usually use the Microsoft computers because I did not know how to use the scanner with the Mac's.  Now, because I was helped Thursday, I can also use the Mac's.  It is nice to know that the computers there are much more powerful and able to perform tasks that my Mac laptop cannot perform.  It is also very cool that we are able to check out digital cameras.  I do own a digital camera but it is getting old.  So it will be nice to be able to use some better cameras for projects in the future.
